Yes — NERC CIP is a configuration and operational compliance standard, not a hardware acquisition standard. Refurbished Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant servers can be deployed in NERC-CIP environments identically to new hardware, with the same patch management, access control, and logging requirements.
What's the right hardware for substation deployment?
Ruggedised 1U single-CPU servers (Dell R350, HPE DL325 Gen10) with redundant PSU, wide-temp operation (0-50°C standard, -25 to 65°C for ruggedised). Avoid spinning HDDs — substations have vibration tolerance limits. SSDs only.
Do you supply hardware for smart-grid / AMI?
Yes — AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) head-end servers, MDMS (Meter Data Management Systems), and OMS (Outage Management Systems) all run on Dell / HPE platforms. We supply customer-information-system integration hardware as well.
