SFP+ at 10 Gigabit is the workhorse optic of every enterprise data-center network. Pro Disk Network stocks genuine OEM and OEM-compatible SFP+ transceivers for Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus), HPE (Aruba CX, ProCurve), Arista, Juniper EX/QFX, Brocade ICX, and Finisar host SFP+ slots.

We carry every reach class: 10GBASE-SR (multimode, 300m), 10GBASE-LR (single-mode, 10km), 10GBASE-LRM (legacy multimode, 220m), 10GBASE-ER (single-mode, 40km), and 10GBASE-ZR (single-mode, 80km). Will third-party SFP+ optics work in a Cisco Nexus switch?

Yes, with the right EEPROM coding. Our OEM-compatible SFP+ optics are factory-programmed with the Cisco-specific vendor codes that prevent "unsupported transceiver" log messages. By default Cisco IOS/NX-OS will accept any coded optic without "service unsupported-transceiver" required.

What is the difference between 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-LRM?

10GBASE-SR runs over OM3/OM4 multimode fiber up to 300m. 10GBASE-LRM runs over older OM1/OM2 legacy multimode up to 220m - mainly for upgrading existing FDDI-grade fiber plant without re-cabling.

Are these compatible with Cisco SmartNet support contracts?

Genuine OEM Cisco SFPs (with original Cisco part-number labels) are covered. OEM-compatible third-party SFPs are not covered by SmartNet but carry our own lifetime advance-replacement warranty.
