You just bought a bare drive on eBay. You slide it into your server. It does not fit. Why? Because enterprise servers use proprietary hot-swap drive caddies (also called trays, carriers, or sleds) that hold the drive and snap into the drive bay. Without the caddy, the drive literally cannot be installed.
