How do I find the right part for my LaserJet?

The most reliable route is the HP part number printed on the component you are replacing — it is unique to that assembly. Failing that, give us the exact printer model from the label (for example M607dn rather than just M607) and describe the fault; part variants often differ between the n, dn and x versions of the same model.

Are fuser assemblies voltage-specific?

Yes. Fusers are built for either 110 V or 220 V operation and are not interchangeable. Fitting the wrong one will either underheat and smear toner or overheat. The voltage is normally printed on the existing fuser.

What is in a maintenance kit?

It varies by model, but a LaserJet maintenance kit typically bundles the fuser, transfer roller and the pickup and feed rollers — the parts that wear on a similar page-count cycle. HP publishes a recommended interval per model, commonly between 100,000 and 350,000 pages.

Do you stock parts for discontinued LaserJet models?

Often, yes. A large part of our LaserJet inventory covers lines HP no longer supports, which is usually why customers come to us rather than to HP. Send the model and part number and we will tell you what is on the shelf.
